Postdoctoral Associate 

  • Developed platform technology for quantifying the critical quality attributes (CQAs) of neural stem cells and their progenitors / differentiated cell products.
  • Developed cell sorting technologies specifically for neural stem/progenitor cells, for the purpose of aiding and enabling high-quality cell therapy manufacturing.

NANYANG TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY (NTU) Singapore  (Aug 2016 – Feb 2021)

PhD Candidate 

  • Studied multidimensional patterning and manipulating of microparticles and cells using surface acoustic waves (PhD project).
  • Developed a reusable microfluidic device for manipulating cells to form a three-dimensional pattern inside a scaffold-based hydrogel. This device has great potential for bio-structures building, artificial tissue engineering.
  • Developed an efficient and reliable microfluidic device for controlling three-dimensional position of single cells in fluid which can be employed to build an automatic system for cell analysis or integrated into lab-on-chip and organ-on-chip devices.
  • Proposed idea and conducted experimental investigation for preparation of academic research fund (funded).
